Cingular is the new AT&T: Rebranding has already started

Here I am at CES, working on a blog post from my hotel room and what comes on the TV? A brand new commercial telling us that Cingular is the new AT&T! I know the rumors have been going around but it just seems so ridiculous now that it's true. I've been an AT&T/Cingular/AT&T customer going on about 8 years. Luckily they've taken good care of me along the way otherwise I would really be questioning this move and the hundreds of millions of marketing dollars being spent. Oh well, sorry for the rant.

Since we're talking about cell phones and Cingular/AT&T, how about the new Apple iPhone?
