Blu-ray Disk Group predicts they'll win the format war

They think they're already winning the format war with HD DVD. They may be but not from what I've seen. It does help them though that they've got the support of 7 movie studios, 5 of which produce discs exclusively for Blu-ray.

Dishnetwork to give away DVR's

Dishnetwork is buying subscribers again! Essentially, Dishnetwork is giving away their ViP622 HD DVR Receiver if you'll commit to 18 months of Americas Top 200 package and an additional $20 for their HD package. The kicker to this is they're also giving you a $200 rebate!
